Houseplants at Chateau Dumpling

Yeah, that's right. I've named our home Chateau Dumpling.

Anyway- I've had this Coffee plant in this old percolator for more than 5 years now- maybe six. I bring it outside in the summer and water it lots all the time. I've hoped to get ONE freakin' berry out of it because I heard they tasted divine but I'm sure that will never happen because my care of this particular plant is almost always an afterthought. isn't is witty? ha!

And then here on top of my great grandmere's old stove I have a Staghorn Fern and a funky Sansevieria cylindrica I bought at IKEA. That one is in a groovy glass-um, candle holder?- and I placed some aquarium gravel around it. Aquarium gravel is one of my favorite mediums...
The tricky thing about being one of my houseplants is dealing with moves. Moving houseplants is a tricky thing. Inevitably, they end up in the car with me- the cat and the dog- all smooshed together while everything else goes in the truck. I've had some of my collection for a long time already... well, the Coffee is the oldest...
