New feature:book review of something I bought at the thrift store

Okay, so who has book reviews of garening books they bought at the thrift store? if that isn't the greatest combo of what I'm all about I don't know what is...

Anyway, I got a 1987 copy of Taylor's guide to Perennials at the Goodwill yesterday for 50 cents... I had this someplace I worked I think J H & G and it's really good for helping people identify things because of it's excellent photos which are organized by color. All the photos are in the beginning of the book and there's an awful lot of fliping around to find what you want if you don't know alot already. Great basic info and I love the shape of the book. It's the kind of thing I love to read even though I know most of this stuff...

I think I'll either bring it to work and use it as a reference for when I call something one name and my bosses use another- or, I could leave it on the bathroom floor, which is what I do with anything I want Dan to learn about. Magically, he'll know his Heliopsis from his Helianthus...

How great is that?
