All the ghost stories I have to tell...

  1. Ok. So I grew up in the extremely haunted suburbs of Chicago. Which sounds like a joke, but it isn't. For dinner we would often go to a local burger joint that had a long history of supernatural happenings... but nothing ever happened to us when we were there- but my Mom knows people that saw stuff (a bit of a dud story, perhaps?)
  2. We grew up not far from famous Resurrection Cemetery, on old Archer Avenue. Resurrection Mary walks up and down Archer looking for a ride to the dance, but when she gets in... she disappears. Good clean fun, when I got my license I would drive a car load of friends up and down Archer all night. Also, I still own a costume I bought with the sole intention of just walking up and down Archer Avenue in... until I got arrested or something...
  3. The Grimes Twins, local story is that these twins were abducted and never found but if you are on some lonely road in Burr Ridge you can see an old car stop and throw out 2 large bags... filled with the dismembered missing girls!!! My sister got ambitious in high school and went to that area and took some freaky ass photos... wonder where those are now? There are visible mists or ghosts and no, no one was smoking...
  4. I was once in a friend's apartment that she claimed was haunted. I was sitting on the sofa waiting for her and I could feel the presence of someone coming up the stairs, it wasn't a stomping as much as the sound of someone carrying something heavy... when "it" reached the top of the stairs I felt a whoooooooooooosh past me.. it was spooky, dude...

That's all my ghost stories. I'm going to go dip tiny Snickers bars in cheap wine now...
