Planned Obsolescence

My 2.5 year old daughter retreived a banana off the kitchen counter this morning, peeled it and ate it- all by herself. This is the beginning of the end for me, I just know it. And yet I couldn't be more proud and totally stoked. A banana a day may only save me a minute, but I see all the little things adding up and soon, so soon, I'll be able to hold up my end of the garden blogging bargain over here.

aw… congratulations to you and her. A cousin recently told her child who wanted cereal to go ahead and get it, and she DID! I was shocked & impressed.

Your post is timely, as I was checking in to request you post in order to amuse me.

However, you are raising a human. So, there's that. =)

A lazy parent is often the best parent, or so my daughter's montessori school tells me....
