Who am I?

Big, loud and fun- I landscape by day and blog at night. I have "written" this blog for jalmost 10 years, if you can call this writing. Someone even let me blog for Horticulture magazine's website for a few years, but once they caught on the nixed it. Then, get this! Fine Gardening magazine let me blog for them for a while AND they let me write articles! And Green Profit lets me write for their magazine and I have a monthly column! In 2010, I co-authored Grocery Gardening, a book that I have not yet read, except for the parts I wrote.
I am also the less popular half of the podcasting team, Good Enough Gardening, which makes me feel like the "Roy" of Siegfried and Roy, but without the mauling.  We don't actually make podcasts anymore. I live in Chicago with my family in a pup tent in the parking lot of the Chicago Botanic Garden and I do not EVER put ketchup on hot dogs.

Most importantly, I wrote a book (for real this time) and it is really rad. And I hate everything. You can find it here.
